New HOT Brunch Spot in Houston!

Houston is a place that is really gaining some notoriety for great new food spots! Our brunch scene is buzzing now and we have some great Austin transplants that have opened doors here recently (Hopdoddy, Black Swan, Juiceland). I decided to stop by Taverna for a brunch with friends and wanted to let you in on my thoughts.

If you are an Eggs Benedict person you should definitely try this and substitute for the crab. My friend Ashley decided to get the sauce on the side and she was RAVING about this menu item. Another great thing about Taverna is that they have $2.00 Mimosas and Bellinis which is a total WIN for the Brunch Queen inside all of us! Another menu item I would suggest would be the Brisket Hash. This is a staple item on their menu and one that will not disappoint! Overall, Taverna is not only in a great location but has pretty great food and will win anyone over with their awesome drink deals.
