Allison and Bryant's Stock the Bar Shower

Wow, what a weekend we had! First off, I could like to say thank you SO much to my Co-MOH, Christina Cochran, and her boyfriend, Kevin Mignone. You two are amazing and you definitely know how to throw a party! This weekend they, along with Christina's parents, hosted a themed "Love & Liquor"Stock the Bar party for Bryant and I.

The menu featured homemade hor d'oeuvres and a raw bar complete with on-site shucker. Dessert was in the form of petit fours from famed Haydel’s New Orleans and champagne and diamond ring shaped cookies by graphic designer turned baker, Holly Fox. The fully stocked bar, pun intended, also featured Bride & Groom themed cocktails. His, a gin-based Tee Time Tipple, a nod to his passion for golfing and hers, the Bayou City Bourbon, an ode to my fashion blog.

Christina, a New York event planner and her partner, Kevin Mignone of KM Productions, decided to forgo the normal high maintenance event production to create the perfect, easy-to-replicate DIY party. For romantic lighting in the backyard and around the pool they used bistro string lights and created a photo moment with gold balloons spelling out Love & Liquor. Heirloom linens added to the charm of the bars and dining areas. Additional personal touches such as a GIF Photo Booth, a custom SnapChat geofilter, personalized koozies and napkins, and of course a box dedicated to drink recipes.
