Dysport with Jennifer Dempsey

May 29, 2018

I am so excited to share with you all my results from my first treatment of Dysport! About a month ago, Jennifer Dempsey contacted me from West Ave Plastic Surgery asking if I would be interested in a Dysport treatment. Dysport is another treatment similar to Botox.

Let me start by saying, I did not think I really needed this because when you see your expressions every day, you don’t see the aging process that is taking place. To me, my face was beautiful and so were my expressions. However, Jennifer reassured me that the treatments would be very natural and that she would make sure not to change but enhance my beauty.

The treatment itself was much less painful than I thought it would be. I was a tiny bit sore the next day just on the injection spots but that didn’t last long.

It has been a week or two since my treatment and I have to say, I am so obsessed with the results! One thing that is important to know is that you should not get Dysport or Botox when you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Jennifer is offering my followers a very special 20% discount on her services so be sure to tell her I sent you if you decide to go in for your own treatment. Her contact info is below:

And here is a bit about Jennifer and what she thinks about the treatment:

About me
Hello everyone! I live here in Houston and I have three kids under the age of five. I worked at MD Anderson for 8.5 years but, when baby number three came along, I decided it was time for a change.  I now work for Dr. Forrest Roth at West Ave Plastic Surgery. I assist him in surgeries (e.g., face lifts, breast augmentations, tummy tucks, lipo, etc.) and I perform aesthetic procedures (e.g., Botox, Dysport, etc.). As a PA I am well versed in the physiology of the face, which allows me to ensure proper and safe administration of aesthetic procedure products.

What are Botox and Dysport?
They are neurotoxins, which are purified proteins that are produced by clostridium botulinum bacteria. When injected into a muscle it paralyzes the muscle, reducing the movement that leads to deep wrinkles as we age. Dysport is extremely safe and temporary method of preventing and improving wrinkles.

When do I start?
I would certainly suggest getting started in your early 20s! The results you will see when you are in your 40s will be incredible. I do NOT believe in having a frozen face. We now know we can train the muscles that cause wrinkles to relax just enough to prevent deep lines which results in more graceful skin aging. Everyone uses their facial muscles differently, and the places Botox/Dysport should be used varies from person to person. I recommend injecting the upper face (e.g., forehead, crow's feet, and elevens) to treat each primary muscle group that leads to the most optimal effects.

How much will it cost?
On average, $300 to $350 for full upper face but this amount varies from person to person. Age, number of wrinkles, depth of wrinkles all play a major part in determining how much product is needed (and thus how much the injections will cost). If you mention you are referred by Allison, I’ll be sure to discount my price 20% off!

Will it hurt?
I use an insulin needle which is teeny tiny.  You will feel a small pinch/poke but most people are pleasantly surprised on how quick and easy it can be.

I hope this helps explain a few things and I am happy to answer any further questions.
I also do SkinPen (personal fave), Kybella (fat dissolver), Fillers (for those deep wrinkles) and Vaginal Rejuvenation with Geneveve.  Please feel free to contact me  if you have any questions regarding those.
