Favorite Date Night Spots Around Houston
Happy Hump Day everyone! For those of you who are "planners" like me and tend to have your weekends already set in stone by Wednesday, I thought I would give you a list of my favorite date night spots around the Houston area!
Houston is always popping up the newest and best restaurant concepts and I have come up with a list of some "oldies but goodies" and "new kids on the block" for you to enjoy!
First up, the one and only Caracol! I love this place because it is central and the food is always fantastic. My fiance took me here on one of our first dates and I would definitely recommend it! The ambiance is great and the staff is super friendly!
Next, one of my all-time favorites, Brenner's on the Bayou. Tucked away in the quiet area of Buffalo Bayou, Brenner's is the BEST spot for a sunset dinner on a nice night. The Blue Bar is almost always buzzing and the Cucumber Martinis are to die for! My fiance and I go here more times than our bank account says we should but it is seriously the best for Happy Hours and outside date nights. This is a must on my list!
Third on my list would have to be the best money saver restaurant in Houston, Lucio's BYOB. Lucio's has been around for quite some time and it has become the place that Bryant and I go to when we want an amazing meal without the added cost of drinks. We always bring a nice bottle of wine so it lowers our bill! The food is fantastic and I would definitely recommend the Skirt Steak and Spinach Dip!
Eloise Nichols is my favorite "Newbie" restaurant right now! I am in love with their Chicken Enchiladas and Super Food Bowl! They are a great spot for a date night since they are so central and located in a hip new spot close to the River Oaks Shopping District. Definitely make reservations beforehand.
